Hey Dave, congratulations! I know you put a lot of effort into your books and I hope you continue to write many more great and invaluable books. Question, I noticed in the pdf sampler, pages had colour unlike previous missing manuals, is this the case for the printed book also?

  2. Cynthia Insinna says:

I have CS5 software and CS4 text book. Is there a way to get an update to the tutorials (CS5) without buying the CS5 book??

  3. Paul Cirielli says:

    Hi Dave:
I’ve been working diligently with your new Dreamweaver CS 5.5 book. I had found your previous CSS book just great. I seem to be having a problem with IE8. The pages I have generated seem to work great on Firefox and Chrome, and in the Browser Lab IE versions. However, I my IE8 (Win XPSP3) the following occurs: 1: The CHIA image doesn’t display (p 271), the sub menus don’t display (p. 219). I have compared my code with the finished code in the tutorial, but all seems well. I’m stuck. Any ideas? I’ve been running this computer with IE for 5 years without issue. Thanks.

The book is excellent. I’m renting it from Safari Books Online and feel like a professional web designer.

  5. Suri says:

Hello David, do you know if this book will be translated into Spanish?

    • Dave McFarland says:

      Hi Suri,

I’m afraid I don’t know if there are plans to translate it into Spanish.
